Ryan grew up in central Nebraska where he was a three sport athlete in high school playing tennis, basketball, and golf. Ryan graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University where he received a Bachelors of arts in Exercise Science. While at Nebraska Wesleyan he also competed in tennis in which he was a 4 time letter winner and All-American. Ryan then received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University. Following his training at Duke, Ryan completed an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at UT Southwestern. In addition, Ryan is also certified as a Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) through the International Spine and Pain Institute. In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and golf along with being outdoors.
