Austin graduated from East Carolina University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2022. While at ECU, he conducted research pertaining to biomechanical joint loading, particularly at the knee, during gait activities. Prior to obtaining his Doctorate, Austin attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science in 2018.
In his free time Austin enjoys basketball, pickleball, golfing, and watching sports with his wife.
